Cincinnati Therapeutic Riding and Horsemanship (CTRH) is a 501(c)3 non-profit. We are committed to the principle that people with disabilities are entitled to the same opportunities and rights as their non-disabled peers. We provide a comprehensive recreational and therapeutic horseback riding program for children and adults with disabilities and unique challenges in the greater Cincinnati area.

CTRH was founded in 1985 by three pioneering women, serving five riders with the help of one pony, and was then called Cincinnati Riding for the Handicapped. Today, CTRH serves over 500 riders with the help of 20 horses, six certified instructors, five specially certified therapists, and over 200 volunteers – all on an idyllic 19-acre facility with a state-of-the-art indoor riding arena, viewing room, outdoor arena, and pavilion.
