Individual Volunteer Opportunities
We have regular, weekly, volunteer opportunities that offer many different experiences.
Side-Walking
Side Walkers provide emotional, educational, and physical support for riders in our hippotherapy and adaptive recreational riding programs.
Horse-Leading
Prior to volunteering as a Horse Leader, one must first serve as a Side Walker. Horse leaders are responsible for preparing horses for class, which includes grooming and tacking. During class, leaders are charged with the safe leading of therapy horses.
Grooming
Bring therapy horses in from field, brushes and cleans horses before returning to field or stall.
Grounds & Stable Assistants
We are always in need to help maintain the beauty and safety of our buildings and property. They assist with cleaning our stalls, pastures, unloading hay, and other grounds upkeep.
Office Workers
Volunteers with office skills are always welcome as we continue the transition to leading edge systems to support our organization. They may help enter data, answer phones, and scan documents into our file system.
